The Morabeza Hotel has always appreciated Cape Verdean music and supported  Cape Verdean artists.

Several evenings a week,

the meals are "spiced up" by the presence of the local bands who add delight to the ambience with their mornas and coladeiras. Saturday dinners include entertainment provided by local dances.

On Wednesdays and Sundays

from 9:30pm, Charles Marcellesi (guitar and songs - from Cape Verde and elsewhere) or Dany Pires (guitar and songs) animate the Tortue bar along with Djoy Fortes (piano) and Panota (saxo)
